ORIGIN OF COCOA
The cocoa that gives rise to Warabu and Iapó products is born in the heart of the Amazon, amidst the shade of centuries-old trees and the natural rhythm of the forest.
It is a wild , fine , and sustainably sourced cocoa, cultivated by traditional communities and peoples who have lived in harmony with nature for generations.

More than just an ingredient, it's the soul of everything we create.
There are approximately 187 small-scale farming families who, with ancestral knowledge and respect for the ecosystem, plant, harvest, and manually ferment the cocoa, resulting in beans with a complex aroma, fruity notes, and exceptional quality.
The partnership with these communities goes far beyond just buying cocoa.
Warabu and Iapó maintain a direct commitment, without intermediaries , guaranteeing fair trade , decent remuneration, and technical support for the improvement of production processes.
This close relationship strengthens the local economy, values traditional knowledge, and contributes to keeping the forest standing, because those who live from and with it know exactly how to take care of what is essential.

Within the Amazon region, our partners, around 187 family farmers, who live in the forest, using a natural process, plant and harvest the best cocoa in the world.
The partnership with these communities goes beyond a simple commercial transaction.
We provide technical support, certify and help improve production processes. We do not allow middlemen in our chain, thus providing adequate remuneration and fairer conditions to these producers, in addition to favoring the conservation of the forest , as these people know how to live and produce in harmony with it.
