100% Amazonian Cocoa Powder

The new Iapó 100% Alkalized Cocoa Powder is born from an innovative process that combines technology, tradition and sustainability.

Innovation is rooted in the way this cocoa is grown and processed, in partnership with the Mura indigenous people of the Kaiapé community, located in Manicoré, Amazonas state.

Iapó Cacau established a processing base in the community, with a unique fermentation system developed by the company's technical team and transferred to the local chief, in a true process of knowledge transfer and appreciation of traditional wisdom. The wild almonds, previously in their natural state, now undergo a controlled fermentation process that reveals a premium cocoa, with unique, delicate and floral nuances, characteristic of the Amazonian Forastero cocoa variety.
The result is a traceable cocoa powder with delicate floral and fruity notes, an enveloping aroma, and a distinctive flavor that translates the essence of the forest and the cultural richness of the Mura people. Each batch tells a story of innovation, respect, and connection with the living Amazon, an authentic product that transforms ancestral knowledge into a true symbol of quality, identity, and regional belonging.
